About Monashee Rentals

Monashee Sled Rentals is family-owned and operated business located in Lumby in the central Okanagan. It was first launched in 2021 as a small rental fleet and has since grown thanks to the support of outdoors enthusiasts in the community, such as our family and friends, as well as the many new people that we’ve met along the way.

Discover the Monashee Mountains

Lumby is a year round outdoor enthusiast paradise that gets you away from the hustle of the bigger tourist locations. Located on the edge of the Okanagan, and at the gate way to the Monashee mountains. The beautiful village of Lumby is home to the breathtaking outdoors and provides many fun activities for nature lovers.

 

The snowmobiling riding areas offer many different riding locations such as (Park Mountain, Nelson, Hunters Range, Lightning Peaks , Blanket Glacier, Mt. Gamby, Jaws, Galloping Hills, Mt. Tousuis. There is enough riding locations you won't cross your tracks twice.

Snowmobiling

With deep snow, powder filled open bowls, breathtaking alpine views, beautiful meadows, and well-maintained trails, Lumby is also the perfect destination for snowmobiling. Groomed forest service roads give access to two main areas. And if during your snow adventures you want to warm up somewhere cozy, check out the chalet by the Lumby-Mabel Lake Snowmobile Club!

Everything you need to make your outdoor adventures memorable

  • What happens if I damage a sled?
    Any damaged parts and labour will be deducted from your damage deposit.
  • What time can I pick up or drop off?
    7am is the start of pick up. Drop off is no later than 6pm.
  • What kind of fuel and oil do I use?
    91 octane fuel and skidoo XPS 2 stroke oil only in our machines.
  • What if I do not have a truck to haul a sled?
    We offer 2 and 3-place open deck trailers for your sled rentals if needed.
  • Do you repair non-rental snowmobiles?
    Yes, we work on all makes and models of snowmobiles to get you back in the mountains.
  • Do you have avalanche gear for rent?
    Yes, we have avalanche gear for rent in limited quantities and sizes please call ahead to book your size.
  • Do I need a helmet and snowsuit?
    Yes, due to the wide variety of sizes, each rider is responsible for their own snow gear.
